Providing wild mushrooms to both restaurants and individuals. From the novice to the enthusiast, RMWM aims to educate others about the complex world of mushrooms through hands on experience in the field.
My passion for mushrooms spawned from a hobby. The intrigue developed into what has now become my life's focus. I have been an administrator on the Colorado Mycological Society Facebook page for a few years and I have led many educational outdoor forays publicly through that society, as well as in private settings. I was also involved in the writing of a collaborative book intended to educate folks about wild mushrooms in the southern Rockies (projected release date Spring 2024). I was also the primary researcher in a project funded by the city of Boulder OSMP. The primary objective of this research grant was to identify and catalogue native macrofungal species, listing regularity, rarity, and so on. In June of 2023, I was recognized by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment as a Certified Mushroom Identification Expert. My intention is to use this knowledge to teach others about fungi and the unique role they play in the world. In addition, I aim to supply the highest quality wild mushrooms to the public.
